Learning to drive shouldn't feel like a test every week.
Plenty of learners get to Alex after it's gone wrong somewhere else. An instructor who cancelled, one who made them feel daft, or a fail that knocked the stuffing out of them.
Alex teaches the other way. Calm and patient, one pupil at a time, at a pace that suits you. Mistakes get talked through and fixed, and you leave every lesson knowing what's next.
He's been teaching since 2011, and in his own words, his pupils' recommendations bring him his next ones.
“What an amazing instructor. A first time pass for my child. So Alex stepped in and helped out massively after driving lessons were going wrong with another instructor. Alex turned up week in week out. Never did he cancel. He got on really well with my son. He built his confidence back up and broke all the bad habits. We were pushed for time as the test was approaching and they both have gone and smashed it. Couldn't recommend him enough and worth every penny spent.”

In their words
Copied word for word from his reviews.
“I started my driving journey in 2017 and failed a couple of times and then covid hit. After this I took a very long break and felt very deflated but this year 2024 I decided to start up again and change my instructor, that's when I found Alex Cross. Best decision I ever made I passed on the 18/12 and I couldn't of done it without his help made me feel at ease and if I made a mistake he made sure we calmly corrected them. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who is confident or like me very nervous and deflated from previous issues.”
“I came to Alex with experience in driving but not much confidence! After just a few lessons Alex made me feel at ease he's such a positive, calm and patient instructor it was just what I needed to progress in my driving! He will help with any worry's you have! I already had my test booked before starting with Alex so didn't have very much time but I ended up passing first time with only 2 minors! Very accommodating with my night shifts also!”
